Man Utd star picks serious injury in pre-season tour

Manchester United defender, Eric Bailly, was pictured in a  wheelchair at Manchester Airport on weekday, as the team arrived back to the united kingdom from a pre-season tour. Bailly picked up an injury in their 2-1 victory over Premier League rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, in Shanghai earlier within the week. The Ivorian was carried off the sphere on a stretcher and left the arena on crutches with a knee brace. “It appears that he’s twisted his knee therefore we have a tendency to simply ought to do some scans and checks on him,” Solskjaer aforesaid said after the game. It is one more blow for Bailly who has, since moving to Trafford in 2016, and has thirty four games through 3 separate injuries. His injury could also alter United’s transfer plans and push them to move for Harry Maguire.

Man United goalkeeper to join new club

Manchester United goalkeeper, Dean Henderson has in agreement on a second consecutive loan deal to hitch city United for the 2019/2020 campaign.
According to Sky Sports, Henderson can be part of the recently promoted English Premier League facet on another season-long loan deal this summer when agreeing on personal terms with the club.
The newspaper is coverage that the deal for the 22-year-old shot-stopper are created official inside consecutive seventy two hours by United.

Super Eagles player joins European club

Nigerian midfielder, Anderson Esiti, has joined Greek champions PAOK, according to the club’s official website. The Nigeria international joined from Belgian club, KAA Gent. The midfielder penned a four-year deal to keep him at the club until the summer of 2023. He has also been allocated the number 24 jersey for the upcoming season. PAOK, who won the league last season, said they had attempted to sign Esiti in the January transfer window but were unsuccessful. The combative midfielder played 95 matches in all competitions for Gent. Esiti now links up with former Arsenal striker, Chuba Akpom, at PAOK.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirms plan for next signing

Chelsea ran out as 2-1 winners against Barcelona in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday. Tammy Abraham pounced on Jorginho’s intercepted pass to go round Marc Ter-Stegen and make it 1-0 in the first half. Although the Spanish giants tried to fight their way back into the match, the Blues made it 2-0 late in the game, thanks to Ross Barkley. There was still time for Ivan Rakitic to pull one back for Barca, who were without most of their top stars. It is Frank Lampard’s second win since taking over at Stamford Bridge. Spurs representatives have already held a meeting with Atletico Madrid officials in a bid to offload the want-away midfielder, according to AS. The Argentine striker is holding out for a move to Juventus. Algeria star, Riyad Mahrez, has said the Super Eagles will be up there with Africa’s best in two years if the core of the team is kept together. Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has confirmed that Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay will be Ander Herrera’s replacement at the club. Transfer: De Ligt arrives in Turin to complete Juventus move

Ajax captain, Matthijs de Ligt, is set to finalise his switch to Juventus. The 19-year-old arrived in Turin on Tuesday night, ahead of his £67.5m move to the Italian champions. De Ligt had emerged as the hottest property in world football this summer, after leading Ajax to the semi-finals of the Champions League, Manchester United, Liverpool and PSG were all linked with defender, but it was Barcelona in pole position. The Spanish champions failed to agree a deal though and Juventus swooped, with De Ligt arriving in Turin, before sending a message to Juventus fans on social media. He is expected to undergo a medical on Wednesday, before completing his switch to the Italian champions.
